It doesn't look like they have a link to a page with hard numbers, but here is the standard DMP permit probabilities.

I was rejected from the 1st permit and I had preference points. I did manage to get 4J. Everyone I know was rejected but we all managed 4J. the is to count 15 of us. Pretty remarkable considering. I hope to get a left over.

I don't know if going on the last day has anything to do with it, but I got my first choice in a area with low chances and no preferance points. I was pretty suprised that happened after the things I have heard from people. It was really a toss up of weather to apply for a dmp or go to stewarts and get a ten dollar scratch off. I can see charging for dmp's but to pay ten dollars on top of a sportsman tag to just have them click a button is a little over the top. We can't bet on football but dmp's sure as long as the state gets the money.

Well said, Matt...

Of course, they'd have gotten your $10 from the scratch-off too if you had gone that route.

At least this way you can put some venison in the freezer!

If I was out there shooting deer I'd be all about taking down a "slickhead" and a lot less concerned with antlers on the wall...  Take the does!  Eat 'em up!!!  Just save a little for the hardwater season while we're on the ice!

3 of us were denied for area 4F in the first go around but 2 weeks ago I was sent a permit due to 21,00 that were not filled by the lottery.
Still, with the 2 legal for bow (that I haven't yet been able to fill) & 1 buck with gun now a doe w/gun , thats a lot of deer for your $$.

Today I got a much needed break to catch up on house chores and with enough done for now I'm heading to my local tree stand spot which I haven't hunted yet this year. It's 2,000 acre abandon apple orchard and always rocks...
