ORIGINAL: carp stalker Are there any carp in Acme dam Yes, there are carp. I've seen them myself while scuba diving and no, scuba is not permitted there. I didn't realize that until after the fact and did some research. The bottom is heavily covered with vegetation , but I do not remember the type. It was very long resembling Anachris. There also was a good healthy population of largemouth and an incredible amount of perch with a good mix of crappie and bluegill. The parking lot is much improved since the reconstruction was done a number of years ago and there is a decent bait shop on RT 31 called Reds . If you get off of the Turnpike [Donegal Exit] and exit to the right to get to Acme, Reds is past Acme which is on the left. I'm guessing Reds is 1-3 miles past the Acme sign. There is a sign for Acme on the left and it is near an old white building that looks like it was a church at one time. I believe it is labeled as a Community Center now. Hope this helps. It is very easy to find. Exactly. The road is named Acme Dam Rd.
