You are fortunate to live in an area where this type of scenery and wildlife abound. Many live in cities or suburbs and only see this kind of stuff when they are actually out hunting and amny have to travel to see this.

In spite of the hatred for you that exists amoung some on this board, I usually get a kick out of your posts, especially pictures.

Thank You Danesdad...

I was born and raised in Penn Hills, outside of Pittsburgh.. lived near the burgh until 1987...so I know first hand what you mean ...

My uncle and Dad taught and gave me my love of the outdoors, fishing and hunting...
They were all I needed.. I did not need any HTE classes..
but of course that was then and this is now...

So I truly know how the "city folks" feel and I am one of the first to be thankful for where I live and the enjoyment I get from living here...

sharing it as often as I can with my poor writing abilities and pictures gives me a sense of being helpful to others....  if that makes any sense to you ???

and when I lose my temper and stop posting it's folks like you and the E-mails, private messages I receive
asking me to return that keep bringing me back for more punishment from some...

so does anyone know what the mushrooms are,

especially the red ones..

They (red ones) and the ground looked like they had been dug up by something..  and some bunches looked like they had been eaten.. I turned this bunch over and took the photo...
