6 point buck swimming 5 miles off Elk Creek September 24th - 9/28/2008 1:59:58 PM

Status: offline 		The photos below are of a Six Point buck which my Son Jonathan and I saw out on Lake Erie 5 miles off shore on September 24th.   A fellow fisherman, Greg Lasko, a roofing contractor from Erie saw the deer first.  Greg was able to turn the deer and head him back to shore.  The Deer  was swimming at a very fast rate when these pictures were taken with Jon's cell phone.

Status: offline 		Not uncommon, I have seen at least 4 dear in the lake in the past 8 years.  They float, dear hairs are hollow.

Status: online 		Awhile back a couple of guys recused a deer in the Chesapeake Bay.  Deer can swim pretty well, but I would imagine if they become disoriented they will eventually tire themselves out and drown. 

Of course, this could be a terrorist deer trying to come in from Canada.  We should alert the Border Patrol....

I guess that deer are in a bass' diet, too!
