FYI:

I was just looking at the Laurel Hill website and saw the following advisory:

Beginning Monday October 19, 2009, Laurel Hill Lake will be drawn down 5 feet below normal pool for a period of 45 days. The lake will return to normal pool by Wednesday December, 2, 2009. During the draw down period, our staff will inspect the boat launches and evaluate and repair the anchoring points for the boat docks and buoy lines in the swimming areas. Fishing and boating is permitted during this time, however, visitors should exercise caution as abnormal pool levels cause adverse and unpredictable conditions on the lake. For more information, please contact the park office Monday – Friday 8am-4pm at 814-445-7725.

I was there from 8am-11am talked to a fly guy from WV and caught a few trout walking around the lake even though it was a bit muddy.
